Hey — I’m Retr0. My real name exists somewhere, but online I go by Retr0.

My journey into tech started before I even knew what a registry tweak was. The first game I ever played was GTA Vice City on my brother’s PC — still holds a special place. Eventually branched out to Project IGI and Call of Duty Black Ops 3, then Fortnite dropped. I played nearly since launch, on a PS4 Slim, before “upgrading” to my first laptop — an i3 7020U with integrated graphics. Sub-60 FPS goated player. The lag and stutter though? Not it.

That’s what sent me full rabbit-hole into PC optimizations. Watched everything I could find, but the one who really stood out was AdamX — back when he was on the rise, his content was everything. He had way more uploads than what’s left online today (most deleted now), and I was glued to every single one.

Eventually got proper hardware, locked in stable 144 FPS, and became the go-to tech fixer among my (singular) friend.
